Medicare will pay for your stay at Elmhurst Extended Care Center if your condition
meets Medicare criteria. The main criterion is that the resident has a skilled
need requiring the daily involvement of a licensed nurse or therapist. If you
are coming from the hospital, a social worker will contact us and make arrangements
to send us medical records. You can always call our admissions staff directly
with questions and to plan a visit. Return to Top. 3.
