Our nursing and care staff is excellent and we are proud to say our staff-per-resident ratio is one of the highest in the State of Illinois. In fact, we received a special commendation from CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for our experienced and caring staff.

Our experience in rehabilitation, nursing care and Alzheimer’s care has been well established. We are the oldest privately held nursing care center in DuPage County and one of the few family managed and owned skilled care centers in the State.

Over 80 credentialed physicians see their patients here and recommend us as a gem of good care in the community.

Elmhurst Extended Care Center is Medicare and Medicaid certified and offers long-term skilled care and certified Alzheimer’s care at rates far below other nursing care centers, resulting in a real cost savings for our residents and their families.
